Yonko Emperor, Seven Warlords of the Sea and the Marines, form the triangular balance where any of 1 side falls or not adequately managed, may tip the world into chaos. Throw in the Revolutionary Army as well as the noble Holy Knights, you can count just how many elite characters are gracing the final sea of the strongest.
And speaking about strongest, the four Yonko Emperors stand absolute in terms of ability and might. Who can forget that during the Submit War, it required the combined strength of both the Marines and the Seven Warlords to deal with Emperor Whitebeard. While the entry of another fellow Emperor Red-Hair Shanks put a stop to the war.
Captains of the Straw Hat and Blackbeard crew, Monkey D. Luffy and Marshall D. Teach, both carry the mythical “D” name, both are part of the “Worst Generation” and now, are both Emperors of the sea. Let’s now take a guess on how a clash between these two fearsome crew turn out to be.
“Straw Hat” Monkey D. Luffy vs “Blackbeard” Marshall D. Teach
Emperor vs emperor, Luffy’s awakened legendary Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika will definitely put up a good fight against Teach’s Dark-Dark Fruit.
Teach is also known to be the man who gave fellow Emperor “Red Hair” Shanks his scar, which Shanks himself admitted is not an easy task, only serves to show how acute might be Teach’s tactical capabilities. He strategically built almost half of his current Blackbeard Pirates crew consisting of legendary pirates such as Sanjuan Wolf, Vasco Shot, Catarina Devon and Avalo Pizarro from his successful infiltration of Prison Impel Down. Even government officials such as swordsman Shiryu and ex-marine Admiral Kuzan are successfully recruited to join him. He is not an Yonko Emperor of the Sea without reason.
Not to mention that Blackbeard has another powerful Tremor-Tremor Fruit (belonging to the previous Emperor Whitebeard) under his belt, Luffy is going to be in one of the toughest fights of his life. How will the battle of the “D”s go?
“Pirate Hunter” Roronoa Zoro vs Shiryu of the Rain
Master swordsmen at its finest, Shiryu will be a very good warmup match for Roronoa Zoro before potentially facing the greatest swordsman and his teacher, Dracule “Hawk Eyes” Mihawk.
Shiryu’s Clear-Clear Fruit, while useful, may not be effective against proficient observation Kenbunshoku Haki users such as Zoro. One thing is for sure, Shiryu can’t be an Emperor’s commander for no reason and that sword hanging by his belt should also easily be a famed katana.
Zoro has so far developed way way advance than anyone has ever imagined, even to the stage of being a Conqueror’s Haki user, making him amongst the one in a million. Shiryu’s bloodthirsty type of swordplay should prove an interesting opponent for Zoro.
“Black Leg” Vinsmoke Sanji vs “Heavy Drinker” Vasco Shot
As part of the “Wings of the Pirate King” and the “Monster Trio”, “4th highest bounty” Vinsmoke Sanji is a highly capable fighter. His awakened enhanced body of latent genetic modifications enable him to even defeat Queen, an All-Star of the Ex-Emperor Beasts Pirates with a whopping $1.32 Billion Berries bounty. He only experienced some small pain when Queen’s sword broke after hitting Sanji’s face.
On the other side of the ring we have Vasco Shot, who only seemed to be capable of….drinking??? We have to remember that Vasco Shot was a Impel Down level 6 pirate prisoner, and this is the same level that houses ex-warlord Shichibukai Jimbei and Crocodile, as well as White Beard commander Portgas D.Ace. They are not your fly-by-night type of pirates.
Both are adept at fire attacks and I am assuming this will be an epic battle of the flames.
“Knight of the Sea”Jibei vs “Colossal Battleship” Sanjuan Wolf
I still remember the cool move that Jimbei used during the Fish-Man Arc that half KOed the giant Fish man Wadatsumi. This will come as round two, of course the opponent this time round is part of Emperor Yonko’s commander. As a previous Warlord of the Sea and a skilled Fish-Man Karate and Busoshoku Haki user, Jimbei already has a reputation amongst his Straw Hat crew as one of their best combatants.
“Colossal Battleship” Sanjuan Wolf is a giant that had eaten the Huge-Huge Fruit and had grown so huge like the size of a town, towering over even the largest character that we have seen, such as Oars or Little Oars Jr.
Although huge, Sanjuan Wolf has proved he doesn’t have conqueror’s Haki, and thus was frozen by Kuzan previously. On Hachinosu island, he was also seen being knocked flying away by Monkey D.Garp, the legendary Marine. Then again, Garp is one of the strongest Marines to have ever lived, with a Cross Guild’s bounty that is equivalent to that of an Admiral, a rank Garp has constantly rejected.
“Devil Child” Nico Robin vs Ex-Marine Admiral Kuzan
Robin and Kuzan (also known as Aokiji) have a very long history since Robin was a little child. He helped a young Robin escape the Ohara Buster Call incident, which came as a complete shock to him as he was ordered to destroy the island.
While it may seem one sided, with Kuzan being an ex-admiral that could easily take on Blackbeard’s commanders with his Ice-Ice Fruit ability, we cannot underestimate the intelligence of Nico Robin, who has been escaping from foes since young. This survivorship ability of hers will be taken to the extreme in this battle.
Plus, it’s not like Robin is weak or whatsoever, she is currently one of the highest bounty female pirates in the whole of the One Piece world. Her Hana-Hana Fruit powers and grasp of Haki made her a 930 million berries bounty pirate, only Ex-Emperor Big Mom and Ex-warlord “Pirate Empress” Boa Hancock has a higher bounty than her, with Big Mom’s commander Charlotte Smoothie only a mere 2 million berries higher than Robin.
I suspect Kuzan will be overwhelmed with many feelings, from what we saw during the Battle of Hachinosu with his Marine mentor Garp, who is also the grandfather of protagonist Straw Hat Pirates’ Captain Monkey D.Luffy. Kuzan is still a kind man at heart seeking the true type of “Justice” which he couldn’t see at the Marines.
This battle will conclude their long-standing fated path.
“God” Usopp vs “The Supersonic” Van Augur
A sniper who can wrap and teleport around, how cool is that? Bad news for “God” Usopp, that is exactly who he is going to face, “The Supersonic” Van Augur, holder of the Warp-Warp Fruit.
His first appearance has already gotten Straw Hat’s crew to wonder who could have sniped a flying bird when they couldn’t even see any island around, that just sounds crazy enough.
The only way to counter this is unless the observation Haki user is able to see into the future, a highly advanced Haki skill that only the strongest characters such as Luffy, Shanks and Charlotte Katakuri could execute.
This snipping competition will test Usopp to the max, and maybe a good warmup before he faces his dad? The snipper of the famed Red Hair pirates.
“Iron Man” Franky vs “Champion” Jesus Burgess
“Supppperrrr” vs “Chammpioonnn”, honestly I find it highly unbelievable that Franky has grown to such an extent to be able to face an elite level commander.
Then again, Franky is someone who could take down a fellow senior executive such as Beast Pirate’s Sasaki, who has a $472 million berries bounty, while Jesus Burgess was not able to beat “Flame Emperor” Sabo, Revolutionary Army’s Chief of Staff, during the Dressrosa saga.
Luffy’s sworn brother Sabo has a $602 million bounty currently.
This will be a highly entertaining match of “meta” muscles vs physical muscles.
“Soul King” Brook vs “Demon Sheriff” Laffitte
Both seem to be the stealth type of fighters within their respective crews. Laffitte successfully infiltrated Mary Geoise, where he easily bypassed all the security defenses and joined in the meeting for the new Warlord of the Sea nomination.
In Brook’s case, he can move at such a high speed that he bisected Big Mom’s special homie Zeus into two while trying to defend Thousand Sunny against Big Mom’s onslaught.
“Cat Burglar” Nami vs “Crescent Moon Hunter” Catarina Devon
Nami’s beauty (very near Pirate Empress Boa’s level i have to say) will be a main attraction to Catarina Devon. While Nami, being a female and an elite pirate (although she is part of the crew’s weakling 3), her ultra instinct will help her in her fight against Catarina Devon’s Dog-Dog Fruit, Model: Nine Tailed Fox ability of allowing her to change into clones of people.
In addition, Zeus’ soul now resides within Nami’s Clima-Tact weapon. Zeus is born out of ex-Empress Big Mom’s Soul-Soul Fruit, making it possible for Zeus to identify “original” souls.
“Cotton Candy Lover” Tony Tony Chopper vs “Death God” Doc Q
Doctor vs doctor, skills as a doctor plus the power of the Devil Fruit Sick-Sick Fruit will make “Death God ” Doc Q a force to be reckoned with.
Tony Chopper can also finally use this chance to get away from his “pet” (LOL) status of the crew, massively increase his bounty and show some serious stuff with various wonderful transformations.
My guess is that kind hearted Tony Chopper will be furious after learning what kind of “doctor” Doc Q is, which totally violates the moral compass of a doctor, and be determined to beat this “fake” doctor.
“Oni Princess” Yamato vs “Corrupt King” Avalo Pizarro
While we are still waiting for the official tenth member of Luffy’s selected crew to be announced, many are guessing “Oden Oni Princess” Yamato will be officially joining Luffy’s crew soon. Massively popular amongst One Piece fans, this stunning Yamato is no pushover.
Also talented with the Conqueror’s Haki, Yamato skill and strength will be a good fight against Avalo Pizarro’s Isle-Isle Fruit, where even though Avalo Pizarro can control an entire island, but he is just as subjected to injury when he faces a powerful enough attack such as Garp or Koby’s Haki infused punch. His “Corrupt King” title may also have triggered some of Yamato’s memories of her youth when her father, Ex-yonko Emperor Kaido, took over the land of Wano and turned it into living hell for its people.
So that’s what is being speculated for now folks, while we wait eagerly and anxiously for the “likely” final and last crew member of the Straw Hat pirates.
And also, Oda being Oda, with his unrivaled ability to twist and throw curve balls into the magical world of One Piece storyline, stay tuned for even more excitement as the legendary manga goes into its climatic final story saga.
